Due to COVID-19, we had to make the difficult decision to change our wedding celebration. We chose to do a small, intimate gathering and include everyone else via live stream - with little time to do so. Joanne was so positive and encouraging right from the start, despite the time constraints that we put upon her. Within a week, she created a beautiful and personal ceremony, just for us. She sent us a detailed questionnaire that allowed us to really reflect as a couple on what we wanted our ceremony to look like. Joanne even suggested aspects of the ceremony that we would never have considered, and made it that much more special. Although we were unable to meet in person until the wedding rehearsal, Joanne's communication was impeccable - making sure that we were comfortable with our ceremony and so understanding when it came to our changes and last minute additions. She was incredible to work with from the start and I will be recommending her services to everyone in the future.

As we gathered around the hospital bed of a dear friend, wife, mother, sister, daughter… Joanne turned the lights down low, lit some candles, shared a few readings and then encouraged each of us to speak our final words of thanks and farewell to this woman we all loved and cherished. I had the pleasure of having Joanne support me with planning and hosting a ‘threshold’ ceremony to mark the launch of my work as a certified Forest and Nature Therapy Guide. This was an unusual ceremony in that it was hosted outdoors on an icy cold late fall day. Joanne was incredible in adapting to the circumstances and helping me stay focused on the purpose and spirit of this event. What I loved about working with Joanne was her strong sense of presence, which in turn encouraged others to be present to what was happening.
