Joanne was an excellent fit as the officiant for our wedding. She offers many types of ceremonies, from religious to non, and it’s obvious once you meet her, she has a lot of experience to draw on. The meet and greet was very helpful, especially for those with little past experience at weddings. Joanne was able to walk us through options and create a ceremony to fit us incredibly well, personalizing it with our own story. She was organized during the rehearsal and on the day of. Our guests had many wonderful things to say about how enjoyable the ceremony was. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience with Joanne’s help, and could not have written a better ceremony. I would 100% recommend Joanne for any type of wedding ceremony - she makes it seem easy.

Joanne was great in personalizing our experience! With COVID in AB constantly changing the rules and restrictions, we were able to meet via teams/Skype to amend our plans on the fly over a few months. She also took the time to get to know us and find out our story to share with our guests. Joanne helped make our ceremony perfect and helped us get all the little details just right before the big day. Even though it was a blistering 33 degrees, she was 100% there with us and happy to share our day alongside our few family and friends that could attend.

We highly recommend Joanne, she was very understanding and accommodating regarding uncertainty with COVID restrictions. Between planning a wedding and buying a house my husband and I were very scatter-brained. Joanne was capable of reeling us back in and gently reminding us to focus on what needed to happen and when, so as to be prepared for our ceremony. I would highly recommend Joanne, as a Funeral Celebrant. During this very sad time, she took the time to meet with our family and get to know what made my son special; like special moments, memories, favorite sayings, what he enjoyed and things he loved to do. She planned the memorial service with our input. The memorial service was professional, touching and a fitting tribute to honour my son. She added in special touches, like my daughter-in-law lighting a candle for my son during the ceremony, and the opportunity of saying goodbye as a family, and having a Tibetan bell ringing out.
